Effective 17 September 2026
By using Unsent you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Unsent is a private writing tool: a place to write letters you do not intend to send, and prompts to help you write them. It is not therapy, medical care or crisis support, and it does not replace them. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis line now.
Some features require a paid subscription sold through Apple. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Everything you write stays on your device and belongs to you. We do not read it. If you share a letter as an image, you are responsible for where it goes.
Do not attempt to abuse, overload or reverse engineer the service, or use it to harm anyone.
The app is provided as is. Letters live only on your phone, so a lost or reset device means lost letters; we are not liable for that or for any decision you make while using the app. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months.
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept it. You can stop at any time by deleting the app.
